and our church is at 4pm. now im just wondering if this is too early. have you friday girls had your weddings at 4?? my fh says that if we do it any later, then our wedding is gonna go on till really late and everyone will go home. what do you think?

I think 4 pm is perfect. People will most likely leave work early that day anyway so it's not going to be an inconvenience. What time does your cocktail hour start?

cocktail hour starts at 7 i believe. i forget haha. im bad. we're not seeing eachother before hand so we need time to go take pics. actually i think our ceremony time is 4:30. everyone that we invited, are pretty much coming to the wedding. maybe 2 people wont come. its crazy. we're also having a somewhat small wedding.

It's not crazy at all. I think with small weddings there is a higher likelihood that most people show up (at least that's what happening with us).
We're having a Friday, 2pm - 3pm wedding. Since it's in March we need some daylight for pics and to travel from Queens to Long Island.

my wedding was Friday, church was at 5 and it was packed... reception was 7-12... pretty much everyone was there till the end, those that left early would have left no matter what time it ended. We took all our pics before and just went right from the church to our cocktail hour

We had a Thursday night wedding. Our ceremony was to start at 4:30 p.m. but the minister was late. We did not see each other before the ceremony either and had built in time for pics but that didn't work out too well since the minister was VERY late. We still got 1300 pics though
We added an extra hour to the party in advance and only a few people left before the end. Some came back to the hotel for an after party that went until like 2 a.m. Do no concern yourself with people that may leave early. You will be having too much fun to even notice
