Having GTG'S at your place????

I am usually a good hostess, and I throw pretty good gtg's? Yesterday was a great example of one I threw.

I live in a nice sized apt, however I am somewhat claustrophic. I try not to invite more than a certain amount of people because of the space issue. I am always concerned about seating , standing room etc. My friends and family think I am nuts and they subscibe to the more the merrier theory.

Tell me what your criterias are for the amount of people you invite to your place.

BTW- I had 23 people in my apt yesterday, which was fine, but more than that I would have died.

I think anything more than 10 people you should defintely get a room a nice restaurant. Just call me lazy

eta - Less than 10 people. Just making sure I have more than enough food.

I always hate going to someones house for aparty and not having aplace to sit so my rule of thumb is to invite the amount of people that I have seats for.

I am a little like yiu...if the room gets too crowded, I fidn myself going into the kitchen to take a little breather.

My attitude is the more the merrier, but with a seat for everyone, so the the majority of our hosting is done in the summer, when we can have people both inside and out. More room that way.

I don't have a criteria but I would say 15 people max BUTTT in the summer I could def have way more. I just have people in the back yard.

thats about the amount we will be having over when we have fh's family over... and judging from current parties, its fine but more definately would be too much
