Having my Bacholorette Party this weekend!!!

Has anyone been to the Culture club in NYC? We are going to dinner and then to this club to go dancing. I heard they play 80's music.

i've been and i love it there! it's totally 100% cheesey, but a ton of fun. as long as your group loves to dance, doesnt mind sweaty crowds, and likes 80's music, you're bound to have a blast!!

I hate Culture Club.. sorry, but the city has SOOO MANY other places to go to .. that place is like Bachelorette heaven...

I was there a while ago. It's all 80's retro. They have 80's icons/images painted all over there walls. Upstairs, when I went they had old school hip-hop/reggae. It was pretty fun. Just remember to bring $ because their drinks are pretty pricey! Have an awesome time!

I think Culture Club is a lot of fun the FIRST TIME. So if you have never been, you will have a blast. But after one night there - there really is no reason to go back. Its very expensive and they just keep a few 80s CD on permanent loop. (The play them several times in one night).

I admit - I had a blast when i went there but I dont' think i would want to go for my bachelorette since there are always 10-20 there.

I have been there for three bachelorette parties and we always had a blast. I would never go there unless it was a bachelorette party (the crowd tends to be young and I am almost 30).

I totally agree with Miro's first post. She gave a 100% accurate description of the place. Good place for silly, cheesy, drunk fun!

Call in advance so you are on the guest list. Bachelorette gets in free and you get a tee shirt and cd.

Wear light clothes because it is sweaty there. If you can wear your hair up. If not bring a clip or ponytail holder. I never wear my hair up when I go out but there it is a must!

I just went there a few weeks ago for my sisters bachelorette party. It was soo much fun!!! The music was awesome! We danced the whole night! :) There were several other bachelorette parties there that night also! It was definitely worth it! We all had a great time!

I went there for my cousins bachelorette, and it was fun, crazy, crowded sweaty, etc, and fun.. I am having mine this sat. night - we are going to see 'naked boys singing' at the actors playhouse in the village and then to dinner and then out. I was hoping not to wind up at CC because I've been there done that, but don't know where else to go! It definitley is fun for the first time.
