about the color of my dress. i havent ordered it yet. but i tired it on in 'cream' and its really pretty but wedding dress= white in my mind. but im just very pale and i dont want to look washed out. the lady at the store said its the right color but im worried. any thoughts?

I like the cream dreses too...but I have always though wedding dress= white. So mine is going to be white no matter what. It's what you want. You should try on a white dress also to se the coloring against your skin. You can alway go tanning like I will do

if your pale skin with pink undertones ivory or cream will look the best
since im a colorist i know coloers very well
one of the biggest reasons im wearing red is because it will cancel out my olive undertones where white will make me look green and ivory will make me look yellow

i am having a similar problem...my mom told me that i could wear her veil (which was actually her great grandmothers...it is beautiful and you weould never find anything like it these days) but it is more of a cream/off white color. i too have always felt like my wedding dress should be white...but i am just guunna try some on in that color and see. If it looks right i might get it. I think if the color looks good on you, which it does, you should get it. Maybe try it on in white too just to see what is better. But the dress looked beautiful on you and it still looks white to me.

I'm an anything-but-white kind of girl too Megan. WHITE white doesn't look good on me. My dress is not quite ivory but not quite white. Go with what the woman said, she knows what she's doing.

i think im going to go with the cream. i like the antique look of the dess! so im going to stick with it im pretty sure!! thanks girls.. i tried on a white dress and it just didnt look right.. i will go tanning but i still dont think the while will look right!

no i tried on a differnt dress in white.. and it was just too white i think!! i dont know i check it again tomorrow!

I tried the original dress on in the same cream-ish color your talking about and although it was pretty I found another in Diamond white and tried it on, it was like night and day such a big difference.

ill have to ask to see a dress in diamond white.. i wish they had the dress i want in diamond white so i could see! but i really think that the style of the dress calls for the cream also.. its a very old style dress ya know?

I disagree, I have pale skin with pink undertones and I looked so much better in the diamond white color.
