having trouble staying with 100 Years of Solitude
there are sooooooooo many details and everyone has the SAME names!
I've made it halfway (and read another book in the meantime).
Is it worth finishinh?

Oh, no...you're missing out on a great book!! I'll admit, it's a little hard to get into...but well worth it.
My version of the book had a family tree. It helped me keep track of who was who-I was flipping back to it constantly.
You're right, I was confused at first with all of the Arcadios and Aurelianos and Remedios!!
Give it a few more pages!!

too late, I gave up. I made it more than halfway and was just too bogged down in the details. It wasn't holding my interest.
