I stayed at the Hyatts on both islands. Both were great. The one in Kauai is AMAZING though. I highly recommend it.

I agree! The Kaanapali Beach Hotel in Kaanapali was amazing! I was just there last July with some friends and I am planning on going back there for our honeymoon. It is a true Hawaiian resort and the staff is sooo friendly! I loved it there and it was very inexpensive.

I stayed at both Hyatts in Maui and Kauai as well!! The one is Kauai was the most beautiful place I've ever been! The one in Maui was just ok, I would probably stay somewhere else in Maui if I could do it over again.

We stayed at the Kauai Beach Hotel and Resort, in July of 2006 it was in the process of being remodeled for Hilton.....IT WAS AMAZING! www.kauaibeachhotelandresort.com

We booked the Fairmont in Maui and Hyatt in Kauai. Our wedding is in May.
