Hi! My family actually lives on Maui! Absolutely beautiful! I've been several times and love it! Regarding a HM I was looking into Hawaii also, but they don't have any all inclusive packages. Depending on the type of room you want you're going to pay at least $3000 just for hotel accommodations, that's not including food, drinks, entertainment and airfare. After figuring this out I decided to look into Sandals and they have some awesome deals!! All inclusive (food, accommodations, airfare, drinks, entertainment) for about $5000, great value. The reviews I've heard have been great and also if the price goes down they will give you the credit, you just have check every now and then on the promotions. Look into it. Definitely worth a look!!

Would love to go to Hawaii. Perfect honeymoon destination just as long as you can avoid the crowds. A lot of the hotels are busy, noisy and not very romantic.

we literally JUST booked for maui. our travel agent got us a sick room at the hyatt. but they're running a special right now with every 3rd night free. just a heads up. we decided to stay a few extra days because it ended up being much more affordable.

We booked our honeymoon, which includes a 6 night stay in Kauai. I heard very good things about it, and I've never been to Hawaii.....I wanted to go someplace a little less touristy. The waterfalls you see in the beginning of Jurassic Park are in Kauai, and we're totally taking a helicopter ride over them! We can't wait!

We just booked our honeymoon today...12 nights....3 islands...
Airfare costs about as much as your hotels!!!!!!!!!!
Our whole trip...airfare, interisland flights, accomodations for 12 nights, cars on each island was about 5500

Don't forget to check out sites like Beat of Hawaii for tips about travel to/from Hawaii and inter-island travel, and try www.pleasantholidays.com for a package.
For our HM, since we planned to stay over a week in Kauai, we rented a timeshare that gave us a tons of space and privacy and we were able to save a lot a money on meals. Used Hotwire for car rental and some things you just had to pay full price. Good Luck!

Kauai gals make sure to explore the north shore...very pretty! We took a Nepali coast boat ride. Also nearly all the Luaus were booked up, very different than Maui, so book ahead if you want to do this. We did the one with the train ride.
