We are going to arrive in Maui around 4pm. What would be a good place for dinner the first night? Do you think we should go anywhere else the first night???

You may want to try The Lahaina Fish Company. It is really nice. You are on the water surrounded by lit tiki torches. The food is GREAT and the prices believe it or not are reasonable.

I heard Roy's is great if you like seafood.

I loved Mama's Fish House which is a little bit past Paia. Very Hawaiian & it's got the beach & the water right there. YUMMY!

I agree with the Fish Co. They were our Favorite!! We ate there trice we like it so much Try a Tropicolada frozen drink, hhmmm so good. I liked Roys too but we ate there on Kauai

We ate at the restaurant at the Hyatt we stayed in in Maui that first night. We really liked it.
There's Ray's (can't remember the town) - it's a chain and well known. We weren't that impressed - the food was tasty but SMALL portions. But others on here raved over it so maybe we hit an off night.
Or go into Old Lahaina to Kemo's - they are good and very well priced. It's casual there. Or Bubba Gumps if you like very casual.
