Hawaii -- Getting to another Island

I REALLY want to do all the arrangements myself for Hawaii but I'm not sure how I book the transportation between Islands? I was told it's a small plane but what's their name?

i think hawaii air but i am not definite on that...check out hawaii's tourist website orrrrr frommer's hawaii 2006 book. I would look in the book but i am not home!

Hawaiian Airlines have a lot of interisland connections.... hawaiian airlines

There are two airlines Hawaii and Aloha airlines. There are tons of flights between teh islands.

go to these websites and you can see the flight schedules......i did use a TA, however i was soo anal in booking the 'perfect' HM that i searched for the times that i wanted to fly....... and i brought the times to the ta and told her to book them!! i arranged the times so that we got the most out of hawaii!! no wasted time!!!

EEcckk...dont' book Aloha Air - it was REALLY scary (I felt) LOL.....worst part of the trip - had me in tears!

I would book Hawaiian Airlines. We took both Hawaiian and Aloha We felt Hawaiian was much better. Plus they use an all Jet fleet, so there's no small prop planes to fly on (this was a HUGE deal for me).

We used a travel agent but I'm sure you can book them yourself. Also, Hawaiin is an air partner with some of the other big airlines so you can get FF miles. We didn't know this beforehand so now we have to go back and try to get the miles on our Northwest account.
