I just got an email that the hotel I booked for my honeymoon (Fairmont Kea Lani) is going to be undergoing contstruction during the time I am going to be there. Any suggestions for other hotels that are good in Maui? I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel because I had a lot of good personal recommendations for it. Now I dont know what to do and am really stressed!

I love the Hyatt Regency! Been there twice - once with DH before we were engaged and back again for the HM....

i second the Hyatt...its a great hotel! BUT i remember reading a thread on here saying that it may be undergoing renovations as well..here is the thread...
that was me who said that. I actually spoke to my TA the other day - trying to plan our return trip for next winter and she told me that the only areas they still have planned to re-do are the guest rooms. The hotel has 3 'towers' - each tower will be closed as it is renovated so as not to disrupt any guests.
