Hi girls, I am going to start my honeymoon research and pretty sure we want to go to hawaii for 11. We are thinking of Maui, The Big Island and Kauai. Is this too much to do. And any suggestions on what hotels to stay at???? Thanks!

I love Hawaii!!! FH and I were there this past October. We didn't island hop and only stayed in Maui for 10 days but I researched the trip to death . Most books/forums will say not to travel to more than 2 islands if you aren't going for longer than 10 days because there are a lot of days wasted with inter island travel. Also, there are day trips/tours to the other islands from both Maui and the Big Island that you can do with one as your home base.
We stayed at the Hyatt in West Maui near Lahaina (a little more action here) and then moved to the Marriott in South Maui (much more secluded but a bit more expensive). Both were great and had their own pluses and minuses! I used the forums on trip advisor for most of my information.

We are going to those 3 islands as well :) just booked it. Staying at fairmont in the big island, hyatt in Maui and grand hyatt in kaui. Did so much research, was thinking grand walia in Maui but after talking with TA and people who went we decided not to, all great things about it, but opted to save a bit by doing the hyatt. We are staying for 14 nights
