i believe it was between $8000 - $8500. Start looking around for deals. Airfares will go up the longer your wait.

Well that stuffs all extra - i orignally tried to budget a HM for $5000 including spending - but that just wasnt gonna happen cause i really want to stay at the Westin Maui Resort! But i think i might p/u the Hawaii edition of the Entertainment book - then you can get 2 fers on dinner.
How cheap am i that i want to use coupons on my honeymoon?

We are staying at the Marriott in Lihue in Kuai Sheraton in Kona on the Big Island Resortquest Kaanapali shores hotel in Maui
If you get the entertainment book, make sure you wait for the 2008 edition to come out - let me know what is in there, I am considering ordering!
Activities and Food are really expensive on Hawaii - I am budgeting $160 per day on food and was advised that is not enough. All the activities are usually around $100 each or more per person depending on what it is. Helicopter tours are probably closer to $300 - $500 each.
We are budgeting almost as much for food and activities as we are paying for hotels, rental cars, and flights between islands.

We're going to get the Entertainment book before we go. $35.00 right now. Trust me, you're not being cheap. lol We're getting free breakfast at our hotel. Part of our package. Everything else we have to pay for. I heard you're going to pay like $10 for like a bagel with cream cheese over there. So i would do anything to save little bit of money. I'm sure that book has discounts on tours or whatever too.
