Hawaii Honeymooners

Figuering out and pricing hotels for Hawaii.

We are prob. going to go with the Hyatt's in both Maui and Kauai.

We are hoping for 12 nights, where should we stay longer, Maui or Kauai- or should we split them evenly...

Also, Hyatt honeymooners, what category room did you get? I really want to full oceanview but it is sooo expensive! I think I would rather stay the extra nights!

I didn't go to Maui - but I went to Kauai - only for 5 days because we were going to 2 other islands besides Kauai but we loved Kauai and wish we couldve spent more time there. I have friends who just spent 12 days on Kauai and they never ran out of things to do!

We stayed at both Hyatts and had partial ocean views. They were fine for us. We did not really spend that much time in the room, b/c we were out exploring the islands, or sitting by the pool. I'd definitely opt for saving the money and staying the extra days.

I would split the two island evenly. We spent 5 nights on each (plus 2 on Oahu). I wish we had more time in general, There was really so much to do on Kauai - more than what most people say.
