Are you flying direct? I've been doing some research and cannot find a direct flight from JFK. Also, when you are flying back, do you know what time of day it is? Most of the flights I see coming back are very late at night, like 10 or 11pm.
TIA!

Re: Hawaii Honeymooners
There are no direct flights from JFK. There is one flight a day from Newark on Continental that flies direct.
Most flyings returning to the mainland leave Hawaii late at night so you can take advantage of both the time change and have a whole day on your last day there. I believe Delta has a flight from Honolulu that leaves at around 3 pm and goes to Atlanta though.
We are flying Delta from JFK to Atlanta and then to Honolulu and on the way home, we are flying from Maui to LA to JFK.

Re: Hawaii Honeymooners
there are hardly any direct flights to Hawaii. We left from JFK and transferred in San Francisco, it really wasn't bad. It was only a hour layover. We took a flight at 5 p.m hawaii time which was considered a red eye here and we liked it because we got to sleep on the ride from hawaii to san francisco and get acclimated to the east coast time zone again.

There are no direct flights from JFK...I searched for a while and didn't find anything. We stopped at LA and went straight to Maui.
