Hawaii Honeymooners- AWESOME $$ SAVING TIP!

My FH thought of this-- and BOY is it going to help us out! Our friends just got back from HI and they saved SOOOO much $$$!

You know how we have the 'Entertainment Books' for Long Island where they are packed with coupons for LI restaruants, fast food, movie tix etc.
Well-- they make those for Hawaii!!!
They are good on ALL the islands. We just got ours for our HM and it only cost us $25. It comes with tons of discounts on restaurants, luaos, helicopter rides, a whole bunch of attractions!
We are so excited b.c we can save so much on our food by using these coupons! Well worth the $25 in our eyes!
Here's the link to the site:
ENTERTAINMENT BOOK

ETA- we paid $25 for the 2004 book. if you are going in '05, wait till next year to buy it

this is a great book - and for those NOT going to hawaii - there are books for MANY other cities like orlando etc - so you should check if you are going to california or somewhere else as well.

We did this on our HM in Hawaii. It worked out well, got us into some great restaurants we probably would not have tried. We also saved on surf lessons and jet ski rentals. The book paid for itself w. the surf lessons, we saved like $20pp on that alone

Thanks Cheryl.............I am going to get it. I am sure it is well worth the $25. Maybe we'll see on the helicopter ride!

OMG...reading this post made me cringe

I had an ex-fiance...and we couldn't go anywhere without a coupon. It was so annoying...I would want to take him out for his birthday or something...and he would look for a coupon. I was like...I'm paying, don't worry about it. Used to drive me up a wall.

I think it's a great idea now though (who doesn't want to save money)...but it just brought back some old memories.

Don't forget you can save on hotels with it too.

I stayed at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach in Waikiki and saved 50% the standard rate and hotel was amazing. Don't worry about the cost of book, with all money you save, it pays for itself.
