Oahu - Royal Hawaiian (2 nights)

Kauai - Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort in Koloa (3 nights)

Hawaii/Hilo - The Volcano House (2-nights) (we want to stay on the Volcano so we forfeit the luxury factor for two nights)

Maui - Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa in Kaanapali (4 nights)

We're planning on 2 weeks, split between Maui and Kauai (day trip to Oahu for Pearl Harbor).

Re: Hawaii Honeymoon's

For anyone thinking of staying at the Sheraton on Kauai:

I was there for my honeymoon this past July. I would recommend you not stay there. Many of the rooms have not been updated since the 70's or 80's and my wife and I were very, very disappointed. We were even upgraded after complaining and the room was still not all that great. It ruined our time on this particular island. The Sheraton on Maui is supposed to be much nicer.

I'm sure the Marriott on Kauai (also on Poipu), right up the road is a comparable price and is probably much nicer.

Good luck.

We went to the Big Island (4 Seasons) for 5 nights and then to Maui (4 Seasons) for 6 nights. It was INCREDIBLE!!!

The Four Seasons on the Big Island is OUT OF THIS WORLD. It was the most amazing place!!!

The Four Seasons on Maui was also beautiful but the one on the Big Island was just the greatest place (so if you decide to go here, go to Maui first, so you can end your trip in the most amazing place).

Re: Hawaii Honeymoon's

We did 7 nights at the Renissance in Weliea, Maui which was gorgeous!
But first we didn 3 nights in Oahu at the Waikki Sheraton.
With air, hotel and car rental in Maui we spent about $4K. We got such a great deal and everything was so amazing which ws good because with buying our house and paying for our wedding all in the same month, we just couldnt afford a $10K+ honeymoon!
