If you went to hawaii for your honeymoon which part did you stay in?
Trying to figure out which part which should look at.
Thanks!

Re: Hawaii Honeymoons
We went to Honolulu, Maui and Kona. Honolulu is just like a big city, very commerical but worth going to see Pearl Harbor. Kona I don't recommend, we were bored, I mean we just relaxed, but the only thing to do is the active volcano. Its also a different kind of beauty there, its all black lava rock everywhere not lush greens. Kona is also very under developed, which is nice because you get to see everything in its true state however not so great bc very limited on things to do.
Maui is definitely the best and we say if we go again we would only go to Maui. It has the best of both worlds, absolutely gorgeous scenery and plenty of activities. We spilt our time between relaxation and lots of activities.

We stayed in Kaui for 2 weeks and it was great! Its not like the other islands. Kaui is considered the “Garden Island”. Not commercial, very quiet and laid back. I loved everything about it and planning to go back again for our 1st yr anni. FYI we stayed at the Koa Kea hotel, another bride that recently got married was staying there as well.

Re: Hawaii Honeymoons
we went to oahu for 4 nights and maui for 6 nights, both were beautiful, i felt that oahu was city like, so the amount we spent there was good... maui was beautiful, more family & kid oriented, maybe it was just the time of year we went though (june)

Re: Hawaii Honeymoons
I've been to Hawaii 3 times.
Once to Kona
3 times to Oahu 3 times to Maui 2 times to Kauai
For our HM, we did 4 nights in Oahu; 8 nights in Kauai and 11 Maui.
DH and I are now in the very beginning stages of planning a trip for 2011 back to Maui. It's our favorite island - perfect combination of things to do and nothing to do.
