What hotel/ inn/ B and B, etc... did you go on /are planning to go on your Honeymoon on an island besides Kauai that COMPLETELY blew you away?
Prob. doing Kauai Hyatt
Heard great things about Maui's Hyatt, Fairmont Kea Lani, Four Seasons, Gran Walia and Ritz-Kapalua.
I think it is prob. between Hyatt and Fairmont on Maui.

The Four Seasons in Maui is amazing!!! When you lay by the pool there, the wait staff comes around and spritzes you with Evian water as they pass around cool towels and fresh strawberries!!! It is awesome! They totally treat you like royalty there.
We also stayed at the Hyatt in Kauai, which was great. And, we stayed at the Manele Bay Hotel in Lanai, which was beautiful, too. :)

Another 4 Seasons Maui bride! And the Kauai Hyatt. Both were amazing, but the 4 seasons blew me away- maybe because we went there first. The service was amazing. You sit by the pool and they give you water and spritz you with evian! Wow!!
the Hyatt is also incredible- that pool is just remarkable!

I am planning on staying at the Grand Waliea in Maui. I saw a special on it on the travel channel. They have one pool that has water slides, a water elevator, and bars in the pool, which are located in little caves. Its expensive though, but so is everything in Hawaii.

I stayed in the grand wailea in maui and that hotel is absolutely amazing. They have dozes of pools all attached by water slides and a swim up bar. The water elevator is so cool too.

i too stayed at the four seasons maui but we actually enjoyed the kahala mandarin oriental on oahu a little bit more

Another vote for the Four Seasons Maui!!! We stayed on the club level (free drinks, 5 food presentations daily, desserts, etc). It was INCREDIBLE and you cannot beat the level of service. A pic of the 4 seasons pool is my desktop background so I can remember it fondly every day! Grand Wailea was a bit busy and family-oriented for me, and I didn't really like the looks of the Kea Lani (They had one of those blow up things that kids jump around in and a hot dog cart by the pool...)
