Does anyone know how much more expensive Bora Bora & Tahiti are then Hawaii?????
On average - I'm thinking $10,000 for Hawaii
$15,000 for BoraBora
10 days?
Am I off????

We actually priced these 2 HM destinations with nice hotels & the prices weren't that far off... Hawaii was a little over $8k and Tahiti was about $10-11k for 10 days/ 9 nights.

I would so rather go to Tahiti!!!
I thought that Hawaii would be A LOT less... but if it's not- then I think Tahiti is a better HM choice.
After all-- when will you EVER go to Tahiti if you don't go on your HM??

We are going to cruise-- no matter where we go.
i want to see a bunch of places without packing and re-packing. So if we do go to Tahiti- we'll cruise for 10 days then stay in an over the water bungalow for 2 nights at the end.
PS- who's bright idea was it for us all to go on the most expensive vacation of our lives A DAY after we pay for the most expensive party of our lives.... I don't think anyone thought this through.

Out of those 2, I would go with Bora Bora, I think its nicer there than Hawaii. My friends went to Hawaii for their HM and did not enjoy it. If Tahiti is a little more in price its prob worth it, and if they are both so far away, you might as well go with Tahiti

LOL Yeah thats why we will never forget it.
I thought I was in budget then i realized Ummm HM wow who could have thought Italy was that expensive.. ( thats when i realized I gotta love PB&J sandwiches to pay for it all)
