Hey Girls! I see that this post has been basically between you two, but I just wanted to add, DO NOT OVERPACK!

I was in Hawaii earlier this year and wayyyyyy overpacked. I was there for 12 days and like an idiot I even brought jeans thinking Id need them. No Way. If I could have walked around in my bikini ALLLL day I would have. The dress is very casual, I dont think anyone there owns sneakers. EVERYONE was in shorts/tanks/bikini tops and FLIP FLOPS!

And here is another suggestion. Save room in your suitcase (or buy another bag while u r there like I did!) for souveniers as well as clothes (and Hawaiian towels) you will buy for yourself there. The shops have such nice dresses and other 'hawaiian attire' that you will just need to buy to take home as reminders.

One thing I wish I had gotten while there was more clothes for myself! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to go back

Hawaii is amazing -- have a wonderful time there and remember to just sit back and take in EACH day. It goes sooooo fast. My trip now feels like a dream
