Well, it WAS our first choice.... but we want to keep the HM under 5k... I don't know if that's even possible with Hawaii. And according to a travel agent we spoke to, there are NO all-inclusives in Hawaii... so I don't think we'll go. Maybe there's still hope.

We are paying $3500 to go to Maui for one week. I cannot go for two weeks because I'm a teacher and I only have school vacation in April. That price includes airfare, hotel and a rental car....no food. There are no all-inclusive places in Hawaii....you should go to a travel agent and check out prices!!

My brother went to hawaii last year and stayed at the Four Seasons in Maui. I plan on going there for a couple of days. It is beautiful. They also have cruises to the different islands of hawaii. I might do that first and then stay on a few islands individually

The cruise idea was what we wanted to do. Then found out the only ship sailing in Aug. is NCL Pride of America and um... it just didn't suit our taste. But in March-April there are SO many ships to choose from so I think we'll hold off on the trip til another time.

I am going to Hawaii and Napa Valley

We're staying at the Four Seasons on the BIg Island (Kona Coast) because it is more secluded and private.

we're staying at the Milliken Creek Inn in Napa - it's basically a really nice bed and breakfast

FM me if you have any questions!

we are looking into Hawaii too. we priced out a bunch of different stuff on our own and found that the Norwegian cruise was a lot cheaper. it went all over Hawaii for a week and meals are included. everything else that you decide to do, you can choose your activity according to your budget. your room is basically for sleeping only so the room you get on the ship doesn;t have to be the BEST, it can be the nicest for your budget.

We are going to Kauai and staying at the Marriot for 6 days, and Oahu and staying at the Hawaiian Hilton for 7 days. Just for air & hotel is costing almost 7k

Re: hawaiian honeymoon ...

anyone research flights yet?
Looking to fly direct in June 09. Is it only continental out of Newark that is non-stop? Does $1000/each roundtrip seem high? Do the non-stop flights really book up one year in advance?

Re: hawaiian honeymoon ...

The only non-stop flights are out of Newark, and that is way too far for me. Plus I rather the layover to get up and stretch. $1000 PP does not sound bad at all mine came to $2300 for both of us round trip with 1 stop in April, and that is also going to one island and leaving from another with the inter island planes
