Re: Hawaiian Honeymoon - help

We just got back from Maui and it was amazing!! We spent 5 nights in Maui and then went to the Big Island and Honolulu, but DH and I would have rather just stayed in Maui the whole time b/c it was so great.

First off, I would recommend getting the book 'Maui Revealed'. It is a great book that tells you how to travel to all the greatest sights in Maui. We rented a car while we were there so we could go explore. I would recommend doing that as well.

We stayed in at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa. It was on Ka'Anapali beach which is supposed to be Maui's #1 beach. Also, this side of the island only gets 10 inches of rainfall a year. It NEVER rained while we were there and every day was clear, sunny and beautiful. This is probably the best side of the island to stay on.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more info.
Good luck and have fun!
