Re: Hawaiian Honeymooners

In Hawaii I am going to stay at Hilton Waikola Village, in Maui it will be Kea Lani (I can't decide between them) and also Hyatt Regency and in Kauai it will be the Hyatt Regency. Being that I am a travel agent, I found it really hard to book my own honeymoon, I wanted everything to be perfect..lol

dawnie!!!

OMG, YOU HAVE BEEN THERE! Everyone is telling me that is THE PLACE to stay. You have to tell me about it. The outdoor shower. My friend said it is awesome---- isn't the outdoor one less expensive than the other one? The upper towers? Did you stay in the Ocean front or ocean view rooms? Is there a difference? I am so friggin Excited- I'm like forget the wedding. I heard that after that everything pales in comparison.

Re: Hawaiian Honeymooners

Our room was on the bottom floor with the cool shower ..on the 18th hole of the golf course. I felt like a rich woman!! It is bigger than a normal room and I was actually able to do my laundry because they give you free detergent and free fabric softener and the free washing machine and dryer. It was right next to our room . We were in Hawaii for a few days already (we stayed in Hawaii for 15 days) so I thought I could do it while my honey was sleeping. What a good wife!!
We only stayed there 3 nights but I felt pampered and it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We went to a beach BBQ where they had a campfire and we had fresh SMores. We went during whale seasons and we saw a mommy and 2 baby whales. The staff came over with popsicles and water while at the pool. When you check in a guy takes you in a golf cart and you take a tour of the property..Al Bundy from 'Married with Children' was staying there the same time as us.
Oh..we also went to Volcanoes National Park and saw lava..that was awesome. It depends on the day..we saw a little but it was glowing red and hot..so I was pretty happy that I got to see that. It is a long drive from the hotel.
If you need any other info..just let me know

Re: Hawaiian Honeymooners

dawnie-

where are the hot spots to go around there? Places to eat? Thanks so much for all the information. Are the bottom rooms more expensive than the top rooms? I thought that the upper rooms had a better view and were more expensive. But I know that the shower outdoor is super awesome! I heard that the hotel is the best in the world- super expensive, but this will be it for us for a long time. I considered this or the Kaui Hyatt (we could only choose one)- staying for 10 days, 4 OF which were in Maui- and my friend who had been was like, you are nuts. There is no comparison. I'm so excited you went. What about massages and stuff at the spa- did you get any? Thanks!!!!
