he caught me!!! (long sorry)

So this weekend I had gotten out of the shower and was putting straightening cream in my hair. I took my ring off bc i dont like it getting all gross from this greasy cream. i rested my e-ring on my bed and put the cream in. after that my mom called us both up for dinner. I forgot to put my ring back on. we went up and sitting at the table i noticed that my ring wasnt on. i went back down to my room and my ring wasnt where i put it. i threw my blankets all over the place looking. then i realized FH had to have it. i was HOPING he did. I was worried that my puppy got hold of it and did something to it! I went up and said to 'FH GIVE IT TO ME' he acted dumb like he didnt know what i was talking about. finally he gave it to me and told me TO NEVER TAKE IT OFF!!!

has this or anything like this happened to anyone? or am i just dumb?

that is ddefinately something FH would do to me. When I;m getting ready in the morning sometimes I take my ring off so I don't get it all gross like you said. he will actually pick it up...stand there in front of me till I'm done....then put it on my like he was proposing agin. but i can def see him flipping if I forgot to put it back on

Yep, happened to me once too. I take mine off every time I put lotion on and once I forgot to put it back on. He saw it on the table and when I remembered it was off he shot me a look. If looks could kill! So now if I'm home, I put it in it's box while I put lotion on that way if I forget to put it back on (which I haven't since that day) I at least have it in a safe place.

I take off my ring in the shower and before i go to sleep and whenenver I'm doing something messy. He didnt like it at first, but I feel uncomfortable wearing it when my hands might get squished, wet or dirty. I cant wear it at work either, but i always wear it when i leave to house otherwise.

Wow i don't even wear my ring all the time. FH doesn't even care because he knows i am not into wearing jewlery. I wear it all most ever day just am forgetful especially if I get up late. I never wear it to the gym or when I am at home for long periods of time because rings annoy me.

I don't wear my ring when I go to sleep, take a shower, or clean. I'm scared that something will happen to it.

i don' twear my ring when i go to bed and i usually don't put it on until i'm done getting ready. i've stopped taking it off when i do the dishes because i usually leave it in a dish near the sink and totally forget about it...

no i dont wear my ring in the shower or when i do my hair or when i go to work ... he doesnt care AT ALL.. he siad 'that baby cost me alot of $$ so take it off if u think its going to get lost, dirty, stolen or ANYHTING' hed rahter know its in a safe place.

nope - when i go in the shower, i put it back in the box
when i cook dinner, i put it back in the box or if im cleaning the apt.

my FH told me the only time I'm allowed to take it off is when I do my hair, do the dishes, and sometimes in the middle of the night i take it off because my fingers will swell up.

but when I forget to put it on and he notices, he gets the ring and puts it on my finger himself... lol

lol my fh did the same thing to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and then told me never to take it off again..then he added something like 'if you lose it , i'll kill you'!!!

my uncle is a gemologist - he works in the diamond district and made my ring
i used to take it off ALL the time when i did the dishes, now i leave it on sometimes because he told me that it is the BEST way to clean it
anything that makes it dirty, is oil - whether its grease from food, lotion, hair products and dish detergent is made to get rid of grease

Yes girl, but it wasn't FH it was our one year old daughter. Yesterday I took off my ring to wash dishes. I PUT IT IN THE BOX it came in and placed the box on my dresser.Well last night I went to put my ring back on and it was not there. I paniced, I started looking all over my room then it darned on me that my daughter like to hide stuff so I went to her two hidding spot, under my bed and inher draw. Yes Lord it was in her draw. . She is to much.

I told FH last night what she did and he laughed and said ' Well I did give it to her first', I guess she want it back

I take mine off when putting lotion on and putting stuff in my hair. I will put it in my pocket so I don't forget it. I have an intense fear that I will leave the house without it one day.

Other than that it never leaves my hand.

I do not wear my ring in the shower,cleaning, or to bed. I also take it off when I am doing something messy when I teach. I have a few ring stands SO i always check its there. I think you shouldn't wear it in the shower.

ya i don't wear it to bed, shower, or while cleaning either..i feel like when i wear it in the shower it gets dirty and takes the sparkle away, until that is i clean it again!!
