Josh relinquished complete control of the wedding to me on March 21 (the one year anniversary of our engagement) because I didn't want to plan anything because he was being such a groomzilla.
He really wanted this one specific Save the Date (a lilac colored Mickey and Minnie scratch off thing) that I wasn't a huge fan of. Now that I have complete control, I nixed that idea and designed my own.
I was kind of nervous that he wouldn't like it but I didn't care TOO much because he 'gave me permission' to do whatever I wanted.
WELL... I showed him the prototype and he LOVED it! I can't freakin believe it. If I had thought for one minute that co-planning would have ever gone THAT smoothly, I may have started planning earlier!

Alyssa, I ordered personalized napkins and matchbooks without telling FH. When they got delivered (to my mom's house bc I'm so smart), I told him my mom bought them for us! LOL

Haha! I kinda did the same. I ordered them, then my mom put them under her bed. He doesn't need to know about stuff like that. Med don't get it!
