He made an honest woman out of me!!! (mini-review inside!)
Hey all!!!
Mad busy over here! Between the move to Neel's apartment (now, OUR apartment), my family in town, having to work from Wed. - Fri. this week (boooooooo hissssssss) and tomorrow's Indian reception, I haven't had time to log in to LIW!
The wedding was absolutely everything Neel and I dreamed of. That night, after profusely thanking my parents for helping out with so much financially, I told them that I wouldn't ever want to have that day over because everything was absolute perfection (if that makes any sense...)
I'll be writing a review in time; for now I just want to let ya'll know about the day-of vendors so that any upcoming brides have yet more confidence in their vendors![]()
Because...all of our vendors were AWESOME and I have not one bad thing to say about any of them.
Swan Club - Upcoming Swannies, you have NOTHING to worry about. They are on their game 100000000000% of the time. The place is a well-oiled machine with so many years of experience behind them. Our veggie menu was an absolute HIT! Everyone loved the variety and creativity of it, and there truly was something for everyone. Swan Club embraced us from the first phone call with them regarding the menu. I wish each upcoming Swan Club bride the most beautiful weather to take advantage of their grounds!
FM Entertainment - AMAZING!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!!! I have already recommended them to a coworker who is recently engaged, LOL. First day back at work, I was all 'hey, Linda - CHECK THEM OUT for your wedding!!!' What can I say - Frank was able to incorporate our ideal playlist into a dance-able mix. We had a lot of 80's stuff going on, and mixed in there was The Ramones, Pearl Jam (naturally), Morrissey, Nick Cave (well, that was during dinner...Nick Cave ain't really dancing music), B-52's, plus some standard dance music. Most importantly, he got a feel for what we DON'T like and didn't play any of that! They are fantastic to work with. Anyone that can get people dancing at one in the afternoon is A-OK in my book!![]()
Twelfth Night - Love them!!! We worked with Mike; day-of, he showed up with an assistant named Randy (I think he's learning the ropes and was there to learn). We booked one photog and got someone to help coordinate things and get some extra shots in there. Pretty sweet!!! Everyone in that office is super down-to-Earth and they deliver such amazing photos. They were there when they needed to be, but also politely stepped back when we were busy partying, never getting in the way of us, our family, or our friends...and yet, they were snapping away with their cameras the entire time!
Verbena Designs - Jen. What a sweetie! The flowers day-of were delivered ten minutes early to the hotel (I LOVE WHEN PEOPLE ARE EARLY!!!!!), packaged and labeled for each individual in the BP. She then went to SC to decorate the cake and knew the look I was going for. A delight to work with; we only met with Verbena when it came to florists and we just KNEW that they were the one for us!
I'll delve more into a full-on review of hair, makeup, jewelry, alterations, etc etc etc, but just wanted to give you ladies the goods on these major vendors.
