So my the maximum heads allowed in my room booked is 100. Do you think if i invite 120 that is too many? There are a lot of people on the list that we aren't even sure will come, but we had to invite them. I am just scared that what if they do decide to come? I was thinking about doing a 'B' list but i am scared because the people that are invited that we don't think will come are cousins of aunts and uncles. I was thinking about maybe sending out half a little early to see how many no's we get back. I did ask what is the max amount allowed is and its 112....I don't know, am i thinking about this too much??? LOL geez!

I think if you invited 120 you would be okay. If your max is 112 & you invite 120 that would be 4 couples respond with no which I think is possible. Although I have not tackled this part of planning, that would be my guess :)

I think 112 out of 120 isn't going to b a problem.....100 out of 120 id b nervous about that too I understand! I'm in a similar boat... my room holds 500 mins it's 175! but I'd like to stay right at 175 not even one over! so I'm trying to figure out what to do my self. my fear is our family and friends have been waiting for its too get married now for 7+ years... by the t ime Wer are married it will b 8.5 years! so I keep thinking everyone's been waiting so long everyone will say yes!

I'm thinking about this to for the last couple of days. My room holds 140 and I have 165 on my list. I don't know what to do. I heard that approx. 10% of people don't show up, but im in the same boat as xBudgetBrideX and we think everyone will come. LOL

Yikes, thanks guys! I haven't stressed over anything this bad yet! We were at 112 invites and i thought that was fine because the Venue said the absolute MAX would be 14 guests at each table (8 tables) but i don't want people to be uncomfortable. And, then my FH sisters were like 'you should really invite your 6 cousins because likely only 2 of them will come since the others will be away in school' So im just like 'but what if they decide to come!!!' ahhhhh. I am just going to have to keep my cool. Everything will work out in the end LOL

A lot of people I expected not to show up (mainly OOT family and friends) have actually surprised me by their enthusiasm. So I've decided not to take a chance. I think 120 for 112 person max is fine.
