headboard for handcuffs
So I made it - the DIY upholstered headboard.
People, I am beyond proud of myself.
It came out awesome and I got the plywood from Home Depot for $1.10.
What did you do this weekend?

Re: headboard for handcuffs
Pictures? Pictures? We hung some pictures that have been leaning against their prospective walls for about 3 months (mostly DH, and I supervised). Hot tubbed it up. Cleaning. Lots of laundry. That is all I remember - it is a bit of a blur.

Re: headboard for handcuffs
I got bitched out for not being organized enough to take care of my own 2 kids, plus my 10 year old nephew while my husband is hanging out at his parent's house all day and STILL make it to 2 birthday parties. Yeah. I suck.I also got Rob to measure out the walls so that he can make me floor to ceiling bookshelves that flank my window for my office/library. I am excited about that.
I also watched a HORRIBLE movie called The Last Run which featured friggin' Fred Savage(!) as a sex addict. I am sorry but watching little Kevin slapping balls was just blech..

Sounds like someone is getting all sentimental now that her one-year anniversary is this weekend!!!
We didn't do any house related stuff, it was nice!!
Saturday we rocked at Goldi's!!
Sunday we did laundry, K vacuumed the pool. Then we watched the Mets game and took a nap.

By 'we' do you mean that your DH helped? I am beyond jealous. DH may not even know where the laundry room is located in our house

Yup, he does laundry too!!!
And he's willing to give lessons to other DH's for a nominal fee depending on severity.

wow!! how did you do that? i need something like that for the love cave. . .
plywood, cut to size at Home Depot (they do it for free)
fabric
batting/foam
staple gun
spray adhesive
picture frame mounting things
ridiculously easy
the hardest part is getting the corners right
Victor took care of that, he's an awesome corner maker
