headed out to buy my headpiece on sunday ...

but ended up being poured on instead! yes, i was totally shocked as i walked into my surprise shower at my parents house! my moh, bms and my mom did a wonderful job. and i can't believe they all kept the secret, too! everyone was so generous that i still can't believe how much stuff we received. it's all taking up a nice portion of my living room. so, the question now is ... do we use it before the wedding ... or do we wait until after? since we already live together (and have no place to store it in the meantime), i'm leaning on using it now!

we aren't using it because we aren't living in our apartment yet- although I did use the iron to iron our new curtains before putting them up.

thanks girls! i really had a great time and am so glad that everyone was able to keep it a surprise! while i love surprises, i tend to be too curious and figure them out beforehand.

as for the gifts, we used our new tea kettle last night so i guess we'll be using them before the wedding.
