I would have your sister send her an email or something asking her to please keep looking, but if it not 'x' dollars. She'll get the hint. She needs to pay for her. If she doesnt offer, she needs a hint. Thats her hint.

WOW. It's one thing to be careless with your own things, but not with someone else's.

Re: Headpiece drama!!!!!
it took about a month or two for my headpiece to come in ... but it might be less (or more) depending on how intricate the piece is.
you can find some really pretty ones on etsy and they take about 3 weeks, i believe.

OMG what a bittch!
I would definitely call her up and tell her she better find it and if not, she's paying for a new one!!!!
BTW, unless you custom make a new headpiece, I think 4 months will be fine to get a new one

i agree, umm moving is not excuse for losing something not trying to reimburse the person for it. if she doesnt have it, you still have time to order one. but i would def keep on her for it!!

wow, that really is a lousy thing for her to do...but to be safe, there is plenty of time to get a new headpiece. I ordered mine online and it came w/.in a week...I found it on eBay.

Re: Headpiece drama!!!!!
Wow, thats really rude. Can you tell her that you wanted to wear it because its special to you because your sister wore it on her wedding day?
I would say if she cant find it by the next couple of weeks let her pay your sister back for it.

omg that's horrible! It would have been so nice to wear something that has been passed down and it could have been your something borrowed too! Whenever I borrow something from someone I always treat it nicer than my own things. And if she called off the wedding she should have returned it immediately! Your sister should say something since it was hers

ITA definitely. That's so irresponsible! It was never her's nor did she ever use it. What a waste. Your sister should definitely say something to both your sister-in-law AND her sister. Good Luck!

That's not like borrowing a book and misplacing it, this is the headpiece from her wedding day! That's awful!

Wow I'd be going after her if I were your sister! She better find that headpiece or your sister better make her pay for it! I can't imagine losing something so important to someone else.
However, you do still have time to get a headpiece. Head to Barron's, they can probably have one for you in a month or so.

Yikes! I'd get much more direct with her and tell her that if she doesn't return it by X date, she owes your sister $$$. That's not cool at all. Good luck!

Re: Headpiece drama!!!!!
that's totally not nice! She should try a little harder to find the peice that was loaned to her. What nerve!
It doesn't take that long to get a headpeice so don't sweat that- it's just unfair that you had your <3 set on that headpeice and a stranger lost it on you!

Re: Headpiece drama!!!!!
Thanks ladies! I feel better knowing that I can still get one - i'm just pissed cuz thats the one thing i thought i didnt have to worry about! I'm gonna talk to my sister about it again - when i tried to talk to her about it over the weekend she was too upset to even talk about it and i dont blame her. It puts us both in a really awkward situation now! I'm gonna check out etsy and ebay today while i'm working - otherwise i'm gonna be back in NY in 2 weeks so i'll have to go to Barrons! I wish this was easier
