Do you think I *need* to have it for a hair trial?
Or can I figure out my headpiece *based* on what I like from the trial?
I'm really not sure on this one ....

Re: Headpiece for Hair Trial?
I think that if you don't know what it is your looking for in a headpiece yet, then yeah, use the hair trial to determine what you're looking for. But if you know what you already want for a tiara, then I would buy it to use at the trial. Good luck!

I waiting for my headpiece to come in to do my trial. I guess it would be whichever you prefer.

I dont think you NEED it for you trial. If you have a set hair style in mind that you want...then why not have your trial and focus on your head piece afterwards

Re: Headpiece for Hair Trial?
I'm using the girl who normally does my hair and she wants to see the tiara AND the veil to see how the 2 should be placed - - veil on the tiara or leave a gap and have veil on back oh head. This might make a difference for you too.

I don't think it's a necessity, but it may make it easier. I know my hair stylist didn't want to do my trial until I got mine. But I'm sure you can do without.

Re: Headpiece for Hair Trial?
I had my hair trial first..loved it...then went right after my appointment to find a tiara that went with my hairstyle.

Re: Headpiece for Hair Trial?
I am going for a trial and do not have a headpiece or a veil yet. The hairstylist said it is best to figure out the hairstyle first and then find a hair piece that compliments the style.

Hey - I didnt have a headpiece for my hair trial because i needed to figure out what i could actually do with my hair before deciding (i wanted 2 totally diff things which meant 2 diff head pieces)
so i went for my trial early in the morning, then straight from there i went shopping and was able to try diff ones on with the hair style! it worked out well - although i know its the backwards way of doing things

I'm sure you can, but I think it would be better to have it.

I think it would be better to have it so you get the real effect.
