When do I shop for the headpiece. I have the veil but dont know how to shop for the headpiece without the dress. THey have to match kinda right? Do I need to take a picture of the dress to bring with me?

I am going thru this right now, I have been looking since last summer. I finally found a headpiece I liked. What I did was find a head piece I liked and then asked them if I can bring in my gown and try it on with the gown to see if it looked right. ( I did this in a bridal store) They were very nice about it and let me do it, and I am going to order my veil/headpiece next week when I bring my aunt and sister back with me.

You have your gown? I wont bring mine home until probably the day before my wedding.

I got my gown at Estelles that is why I have it. I would take a picture of it and also a upclose picture so you remember the pattern on the gown and then go to look for a headpiece. I would also look in the store that you got it in and look at there headpeices also.

I am having a hard time matching up a head piece with my dress as well..I do have a picture..my dress is at my sister's..I dont wnat to see it..Im afraid Ill get bored with it and wont feel special on my wedding day..I found some amazing prices for head pieces online..but its so hard to tell if its nice without trying it on.Let me know how you go about finding yours..I could use the advice! Thanks

I bought one at my bridal salon. Thay had a large selection and I was able to try them on with my gown. I'm glad I was able to see them both together because I did not like the one I wound up getting when it was on the shelf, but loved it with my dress.
