Headpiece / Veil Help

I went just looking just to get an idea about what is out there in terms of headpieces & veils. I went to Patchogue Florist / Fantasyland with PrincessAurora(wedding newbie on this site) & was so disappointed!

How do you go about finding that perfect headpiece. They seemed so poorly made & cheesy or gaudy...any advice on how to shop for these items? Are they any better at the actual bridal salons. I just don't want to spend a fortune since my dress was more than I anticipated spending
