I got my veil at Patchogue Fantasy Floral for $50.00 and my headpiece (a small comb) for $12.00 at Claire's.

She sells them at some bridal shops one being Kleinfelds and I think Bridal Reflections but if you call her she will set up an appoinment with you and you can see her showcase at Jovan Studios. That is where I went. She has a wardrobe filled with all the headpieces and she makes you bring a picture of your dress. She took her time with me and made me try on as many as I wanted.

I got my tiara on Jamaica Avenue and my viel I am making, but I bought the toole in Manhattan for 1 dollar a yard.

If you mean Denise Leli headpieces, I went to a headpiece show of hers at Bridal Reflections and they were in the $600 range.
Headpieces in general can go anywhere from $40 - $$$$. I got mine for about $125 and I thought that was reasonable.

That is true. She took her time with me when I met her at Jovan Studios. She really has a huge selection. Like I said my tiara, fingertip veil with blusher, and cathedral veil was $500.

I got my hairpins from a bride on the Newlywed sale thread ( they are so beautiful!!!!) and my veil is being borrowed from a friend who had the same dress and it matches perfectly.

sounds like a plan...i think maybe what I should so is go to bridal reflections where I got my dress...and try on some headpieces and veils and see how i like it with my dress b4 i waste her time...no?

I think that is a great idea. Since the place where you bought the dress carries her headpieces it works out for you. You can try it on with your dress to see how it really looks with it. That makes a lot of sense.

I'm having mine made by a lady I work with who makes jewelry. I gave her a design I like and she's going to reproduce it. If it works out, I will post pictures and more info.

I bought my Crown from 'Bridal Styles' in Brooklyn. It was custom made out of all Swarovski crystals and it took about 5 months for them to make it for me.
