I'm thinking for the veil i want a cathedral lengthn, and then after my first dance, I can detach the long length and leave a fingertip on ....how much do those suckers go for? and tiara? I have no idea what to do....

I got my headpiece on Ebay! I figured, for the price I got it for ($17), if I didn't like it, so what! But I really do love it! (Attaching picture, hopefully it will work).
I bought a chapel length veil with satin trim that was just stupid-expensive (from bridal store). So, between the two prices, it's almost reasonable
I got it at the bridal shop where I bought my dress. It hasn't come in yet. When it does I will post pics.

I had a cathedral length veil as well as the fingertip length. I took the Cathedral off after the church ceremony and all the pictures were done. I bought my veil and tiara from Denise Leli. She has a wonderful selection and was nice to work with. All 3 pieces cost me $500.

I originally got my veils at Barron's in Tri-County for around $200 (for a cathedral, an elbow w/blusher and double sided crystals) but then it ended up not matching my gown so I got one that matched perfectly at Bridal Reflections... wasn't too happy about having to get it there because they were waaaay overpriced.

Oh and I got my headpiece from Lidia's bridal in Copiague. I saw it first on Bridesave.com (they have a HUGE selection at very reasonable prices) but the shipping times didn't work out for me so luckily I was able to pick it up at Lidia's.
