Re: health insurance
You could call one of the hospitals need you they have insurance reps who can let you know what your options are...If they have no reps ask for a financial counselor

Re: health insurance
If the above options do not work I believe Planned Parenthood provides GYN services. If you work I think they charge using a sliding scale.
Also, look into Family Health Plus, you may have to pay a premium (which could be $300 a month) and then you could do it that way.

Re: health insurance
I work in HR we come across this a lot when people's kids graduate... most offer COBRA it is expensive but it allows you to keep the same coverage. For something that is a little less expensive check out
They offer a bunch of different health care plans...

Re: health insurance
I have no health insurance...I'd rather take my chances than pay the RIDICULOUS fees they would've charged me to stay on.
Side note -- I just got a new job and I'll have health insurance again in 2 months!!! Woo hoo!

Re: health insurance
check out Healthy NY....if you meet certain salary requirements you can get this. If you work part time, you MIGHT be able to get cobra, but I'm not 100% on that.
