I have been doing low carb and I havent really seen any weight loss on myself. I was thinking about trying to eat normally, just healthy. What are some ideas for Breakfast?
Where I work, there is a full service cafeteria, where I can get eggs and toast and stuff....but I am so sick of eggs and egg whites. What do you recommend for breakfast that is filling?
Thanks, Scott

Re: Healthy Eating breakfast Question
bump. I thought I would bump this since so many brides are trying to eat healthier for their weddings and the new year. I'm trying to eat smaller, more protein rich (and good carbs) meals and drink more water. I think this post has some great meal ideas

Re: Healthy Eating breakfast Question
You can check out glycemic indexes on websites for diabetes...
This is extremely expensive - about $35.00 per jar, believe it or not, but we get raw almond butter - its fresh, organic, and must be refrigerated - CHOCK full of protein and the fats we need - now I just need to remember to eat it in the morning - I already broke my eat breakfast resolution - tomorrow I start for sure!!!
we were able to buy the good almond butter because family members get us gift cert. to health food stores - they know we are vegan and its expensive to eat healthy!!!

Re: Healthy Eating breakfast Question
So if you workout moderately what should you eat? I do some cardio and weights at the gym but nothing crazy. I don't eat much during the day but then I'm STARVING after the gym and I completely pig out at night. Maybe I should eat more during the day - but I don't know what to eat. Can someone help???
THANK YOU!!!

Re: Healthy Eating breakfast Question
it takes a very long time to answer this question.
What do you think is Healthy?
lean proteins, good fats like nuts, olive oil, fish oil, and flax oils, whole grains like steel cut oatmeal, ans whole grain breads, vegetables steamed. no soda, try your best not to eat refined sugars or white flours.
all you need to do is read fitness magazines that regularly have a diet and health section. I suggest oxygen and muscle and fitness hers, or Self if you like that type.

Re: Healthy Eating breakfast Question
Fitness magazine is great too - I love it - better than Shape, which seems top be turning into a fashion magazine - very annoying!!!
