I really liked John Anthony's because they have an awesome view of the water. But when I went there the lady was really wierd. She said they don't do food tastings, or bridal expos. So has anyone been there since they were bought out.... TIA

We went to a wedding there recently, and I have to say, I was disappointed with there food. I went to a wedding there from the original owners and it was out of this world. My friends booked with the original owners, had a tasting and loved it. Then when the new owners came in they were told they could not have a tasting. That is def NOT a good sign. My FH, the grooms aunt, brother in law and cousin all got food poisoning. It was sooo bad. (Hopefully, this was only a once in a lifetime happening for them)

If you really liked their view on the water, you should check out Chateau La Mer, they are on the water as well and their food is fantastic. They do tastings and are AWESOME! Definitely check them out.
