Really thinking about booking H&S, but I am concerned about their range and ability to play new music (a concern with all bands). We have a young croud so we are hoping to play a fair amount of new music (certain hip hop and dance music)...Has anyone seen them at a wedding and can speak for their ability to play new music? They have a song list with a bunch of new music, but sometimes bands know how to play new music, just not well....then your guests are left saying....'ohh this sounds intersting'

I think they play very current music and I will say they play it well. I didnt use them but I was at a bridal show, and at that time this nelly furtado song was very popular and from the hallway i heard it being played and then right after the pussycat dolls song. To be honest, i thought it was a DJ showcase and they were the actual songs being played bc it sounded just like the original songs. When dh and I walked into room where they were playing, we were both very surprised to see that a band just sang those 2 songs.

I've heard them at several showcases and they performed every song really well -- old and new. Ask them for a cd, as well. You can get a better sense of the various songs they can perform.
