Heartland GTG moving!!! New Location is Figaros!!!

An Update to the post below:

We'll all be meeting at Figaros (Italian Restaurant), on 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues at 6PM on December 18th. Don't forget your grab bags.

The reservation is held under nylisa's real name and we have the whole upstairs to ourselves!!!



Hi everyone.

Well it seems that the 42nd street location at heartland can't accomodate 24 people, but they said Union Square location can. If I reserve Union Square, then I'll have to give them a credit card # to hold it and if we're no show, then I am out $100.

Can I just get a show of hands from those who were planning to attend if you're ok with the Union Square location? Please reply, as I won't book it unless people say its ok with them...

Where is Union Square???? How far is it from 43rd St? I'm a Long Island girl, all I know of the city is the Streets that are numbered! haha!

I am not sure about Union Square. Can we find a place in Midtown that can accomandate us?

I'm surprised at them! That place is pretty large to accomodate 24 young ladies!

What about Connelly's I THINK that's what it's called on 45th ST.

They have an upstairs to that place.

Its located Around Broadway between 16th and 17th Streets. You would need to take NR train to 34th street and then walk a block to Penn station for LIRR.

Is it possible for you to call the places you've mentioned. I prefer midtown myself, so I am flexible with other midtown locations.

Connelly's is a NO GO!!! They are BOOKED! Although they can accomodate that amount!

I think a pub/restaurant might be best. MAYBE St. Andrews???? on 44th St.? What do you think nylisa???

Union Square is fine for me because i work downtown, but I do think something more midtown would be easier for everyone. I think there are a few Friday's midtown as well as a few Tequila Sunrises. There is as place called Rosie O'grady's on 50th and 7th that is a good large bar that is pretty cool too.

Let me try this again. I work at a bar in Midtown that could easily accomadate our #. The only thing is that they don't serve any food just drinks. If you want I could talk to my boss. It is Don't Tell Mama on 46th between 8th and 9th.

It is a Italian restaurant that is not that expensive. It is on 44th street between 6th & 5th avenue.

It is on 44th street between 5th & 6th avenue and the reservation is for 6 p.m. Let's get a new post going for this and I think that we should e-mail everyone, just to let them know.
