HearzBellz & Valentinegirl

Hi girls...yesterday I saw you wrote about how you use Conair Big Curls...

I bought them today and would like to know how you use them...

I have curly hair, but since the wedding, it's been less curly and more frizzy like. I had a rinse put in my hair right before the wedding...not a colored rinse, but something to supposedly make my hair shinier...it didn't work and I've lost my nice curls.

I want to start straightening my hair sometimes...and saw you use the Big Curls to set it...and then what? Do you also use the blowdryer?

And, do you set your hair when it's wet or dry?

Sorry for all the questions...I just need bigtime help with this hair!!!!!

Thanks girls!!!

Thank you for posting this because I was wondering the same thing. I have serious unruley curl issues and my hair is now long enough to put into curlers but I was afraid of how it would look ... any advice girls?

I dry my hair before I set it. Then I use a light hairspray when it is rolled, and that is it. I unroll it & then just put my fingers through it to losen the curls. I have used a straightening iron, but I find it damages my hair - even moreso than blow drying.

I set it every other day & it holds its style...so I love it.

I just saw this. I usually set mine wet and then go under one of those big dryers w/ big plastic rollers. I have blown it out partially and then used hot rollers. This works well also. The hot rollers probably work good for people w/ less curly hair. Mine is soooooooo curly.

I just bought them yesterday! Actually not the Big Curls, I couldn't find them, I bought the travel set that seems to be prety much the same thing, but only has 5.

I tried them last night, it worked beter than velcro rollers but I have to practice a little with the placement of them & using hairspray or spray gel. Also, yesterday my hair had already been blown dry in the am, so next time I will try it on un-previously stlyed hair.
