I still feel so sad He was my age!
On Cnn.com they put up an entire page of nothing but strangers who encountered him along the way and the nice things he did or said to them. He really did seem like a sweet, down to earth man depsite his celebrity...sooooo sad!

This is so sad! For some reason i can't stop thinking about. I guess for the fact he's my age. Plus, they were saying it may be from prescription drugs. That's kinda of scary because doctors prescribe anxiety medicine and sleeping pills. It's crazy that some of these pills can be deadly when they are mixed together. Poor Heath RIP!

Re: Heath Ledger--RIP
people at my job were asking me how i felt about it because he is my age and all i can say was - well when i was younger i knew two people who took their lives before i was 13 and then as i got older a few more took their lives so honestly i feel nothing if that is the case. If he didn't mean to kill himself and just popped too many pills due to anxiety or mixing diff perscripts i feel horrible then for his family and his child.
Doctors wanted me to take meds for years and i refuse because i hate pills, i use to take drugs when i was a teen and it fried me and gave me huge panic and flashbacks that sometimes occur to this day. The only thing i take now are asprin and i don't even take a lot of that. I feel its sad that our culture allows us to be so medicated and that doctors feel the need to give us more pills then necessary. I feel sadden that his daughter will never remember or really know her father because of this.

I think it's very sad regardless of the circumstances. It's kind of sad there is so much speculation and people are jumping to conclusions in the media. As far as our culture keeping us 'medicated' I don't think that is a fair assumption. Yes there are dr's out there who will medicate more then actually need it but there are dr's who do care about their patients and want what is best for their well being. When i was a teenager I suffered from depression and if it wasn't for the medication my dr's had researched and prescribed for me I might not be here today. Not all dr's are prescription dispensors.
