I am looking for chocolate brown cardstock but thick to use as the base for our menu. I went to Michael's and they have brown cardstock but it is flimsy not the heavy kind. Am I looking in the wrong place? Can anyone recommend where I can go??? TIA

Re: Heavy Cardstock
There is a huge paper store in Farmingdale right off of 110. I can't think of the name right now, but it is on that block that is right next to Target. They are only open M-F, and only til 5pm, so I've never been able to get there, but my mom has gotten cardstock from there for some of our projects.

i am not sure what the exact weight is, but I know that I've ordered card stock before and compared to what is considered card stock at Michael's it was a lot thicker I just didn't want to have to order online again..but I guess I have no choice...

Re: Heavy Cardstock
michaels has really nice cardstock ...esp. the textured kind ... did you see all the rows of loose paper? They also have it in packs - i got a pack that had ivory, beige, green, gold (dark yellow, not really gold) anf brown for 3.99. going back tomorrow to get more since I underestimated how many i needed for my menus.
If you live close to huntington ... there is a store called huntington business products, basically an office store - and they sell cardstock in big sheets. I think it's $1.19? I bought some in choc brown. It's on main st. (25A) across from the library.
What are you using it for?

I think 110/120 lb is the heavy cardstock. They give you a little tutorial on how to determine the weight.
I bought one on sale there and didnt check the weight and it ended up being regular paper. It was the color I needed so I just printed my menus on it and glued it to black heavy cardstock.
