Heilman vs. Beckett tonight - Pedro vs. Leiter tomorrow

Well... I guess I could hope that Beckett getting overly anxious and pumped for this game after getting schooled last week...

... that he will let some nice FAT pitches cross the plate for our hitters to club.


Beckett was MAD PISSED last week after he came out of the game. Lets hope its in his head and we can steal one again.

Tonight is huge for Heilman, he needs to prove he could be a bit consistant and string 2 good starts back to back.

As for tomorrow...our key is to be patient at the plate with Leiter and get his pitch count up so Florida has to go to the pen in the sixth inning. We all know Al gets to a 3-2 count quite often.

Welp... looks like both Heilman and Beckett are back to pitching the way they normally do.

Pedro's #s last yr with Boston
On normal four day rest Pedro's ERA was 4.77 and on 5 or more days was 2.89(around there)


Thurs game is going to be Pedro's first start on reg 4 day rest. Lets see how it goes.
