I Fm'd you what I thought of Helens and it is ALLLLLLLLL GOOD!!!! But I just wanted to say that if anyone has been looking for a gown and needs a place to shop and not be overwhelmed or pressured. Helens is really great

It is located off of Motor Parkway...the block before SYMS (Austin Blvd.). It's kind of in between all of those business buildings.

Great for brides and bridesmaids dresses. Ask for Liz or Ashley....they are the sweetest!

i got my wedding dress from Helens i loved them so much!! everything was just perfect! they are the sweetest ladies there, and couldnt ask for a better experience!! and the delivery was right on time!!

Liz is awesome! they are very friendly, I just didnt feel they had that big of a selection.JMO.

Oh me three! I have an 11am appt. Cannot wait. What time are you guys going?We should all def try and meetup/introduce ourselves etc. I am bringing a dig cam for pics..would be great to bring one and take a pic of all LIW brides going

Yes thats right Alison. You got the 'early' appt hehe first one there waiting for the doors to open!
Anyone making plans to go to another Bridal salon afterwards? Im thinking of making another appt since I will be with my mom and sister who is my MOH.

50 Austin Blvd It is in a place called Wedding World. Near the Commack Rd exit of the LIE and close to Girl Scout Headquaters

i haven't been there for myself (was there with BM who is getting married this Oct for our dresses)
What time are they open until on Sat? Maybe I will make an appt myself..Who is good to work with there (have heard mixed reviews about staff)

I got my dress there and have had a good experience so far. Prices are very reasonable, and my dress came in quicker than expected. I just went to my 1st fitting this past Saturday and everything went really well!! They are located in an industrial center on Austin blvd- it's part of Wedding World. I definitely recommend that you check them out!

Helen's is SO wonderful!! The 2 ladies there are so sweet, funny and they really take care of you. My girls got their dresses from there. I didn't get my dress from there (wanted to, but just found 'THE ONE' somewhere else), they will be doing all my alterations.
