Here is where I am confused. I LOVE a dress that I tried on there. The sample was in Ivory and it was a size 8.
Then I tried on the same dress at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. It was in Oyster (silver) and it was a size 12 dress.
The first one fit better I know because it was closer to my size but the other one was a lot more sparkly. The lighting was also different though.
They both have the same name and by Maggie, but at Helen's its $250 less.
Could there be any chance its a different dress or an older sample? The beading looked the same on both.
I guess before I order it I just wanted to know opinions about Helen's and dresses from them. The ladies were REALLY nice!

If I am thinking of the right place...I have 3 friends who all got their bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses thru helens and saved a boat load of money!!!! I called too about my BM dresses and she was saving me $40 from what other LI retailers were saying. (But I ended up getting them in NC near my sister and saving a few more bucks!)
Anyway...they have a good reputation!

i have been in 2 BP's where the dress was purchased there and thet were awesome to deal with....nice, great prices....good experience....i was unable to use them b/c they didnt carry my dress or my BM dress...but if I could have, i would have

i got my dress there and my dress came in super quick at a great price and the ladys there were really nice!

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THEM!! the women there are so nice!! i paid half of what i was quoted at other botiques i love them they are great!! i have my fitting tomorrow! my dress came in earlier than expected!!

You should try Village Bridal Boutique. I went to Helen's and found that the Maggie Dress I bought was $200 less where I got it @ Village Bridal and Boutique.

I ordered a BM dress for my friends wedding in 2006 and have no complaints. The staff is nice, the seamstresses are good and the prices are pretty good. None of the BMs from that wedding had an issue.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Helens Bridal! They are amazing I have been in 3 weddings where the dresses were purchased there and I am getting my dress, MOB dress and BM dresses there as well as all the tuxes!
Helen's is the best!

also depending on the dress and the price i believe they will price match but only to a certain ammount
