My name is Tricia and my FI and I got engaged about a month ago at Rockefeller Center x-mas tree (very romantic). I am new to this site and love looking through it.
We booked Jericho Terrace and have appointments with some photo/video people this week. We are meeting with Ferlise Photographers, Sherwood-Triart, and Micheal's Photography in Huntington.
Does anyone have any advice about any of these vendors? Any other opinions for dj's and flowers?
Finally, has anyone heard anything about Jericho Terrace. Thanks for all your help and Good Luck to all!!

You didn't by chance get engaged on the Ice Skating rink did you?
I was at the gym a month ago and this woman was talking about how her son got engaged that weekend (I was eavesdropping - i know horrible) and how they were ice-skating. oh wait, maybe I heard that story somewhere else.... maybe it was my mom....
but anyways, it was the sweetest story because they cleared the ice and they started skating and then he asked and her whole family was there!
i LOVE public engagements...mine was as public as FH would allow! But given my hysterically crying reaction, I am glad I wasn't in front of loved ones or others... I was a mess.
OK, so back to you - I don't know anything about those vendors but welcome and congrats.
I almost ALMOST booked Jericho Terrace...very nice place. They just couldn't match what I had gotten at Floral Terrace. Welcome!!!

I don't have any input on the vendors, but the temple where I'm getting married recommended Michaels for photography - so please report back on how your meeting went as well as the prices and packages!

Actually we didn't get engaged on the ice skating rink, but it was in Rockefeller Center in front of tons of people it was very memorable and romantic!!

WOW-getting engaged by the tree at Rockafeller Center, that is so romantic.
Sorry I can't help on venders except maybe the DJ. We booked 'In The Mix DJ'. They r located in Mineola on Jericho TPKE. We are dealing with Donnie. Super nice guy and from the videos of what we've seen, he knows his stuff and he wasn't overly pricy either .

hello!!! I don't know much about the vendors but Jericho Terrace is a great place with great people that work there. I used to be one of them many moons ago and most of the same people are there. My brother is getting married there in June.

Florists: Flowers by Brian Pedestals (across from Jericho Terrace) Atlantic Florists Flowers by Michelle
We booked Patken for photo & video and we are still looking in deciding what florists to go with!
