Wow, Thank You so much and Congrats to you all!!!! I've changed my date to 8/1/13... I'm no longer a 2012 bride. I have also decided to get married at Russo's on the Bay! Thank You so much for your help!!!!

Russo's on the Bay has great food!

East Wind (Suffolk County) was also amazing.

Where are you looking? Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Westchester?

FH and I have been engaged since 9/05/09... We have totally enjoyed every minute of being engaged and now we are so excited to finally start planning the wedding!!!

We went to Russo's on the bay and we love it!!! Very difficult to negotiate with them...

FH took me to a Jewelry store to look at engagement rings, to my surprise, we found one that we liked and he purchased it. 'Throw it in the bag' is what he told the sales lady. Two weeks later, while house shopping, FH told me to get his shirt out of the trunk of the car, to my surprise, there was a beautiful bouquet of red roses (my favorite) with a note attached - 'Surprise, there is another surprise for you in the back seat.' When I looked in the back seat there was a chocolate cake (my favorite) with another note attached that read, 'Now there is a surprise in the glove compartment. I looked in the glove compartment and I found a diamond tennis bracelet. FH put the bracelet on my wrist, took a little black box out of his pocket, got down on one knee, put the ring on my finger and proposed to me in front of several pedestrians. Everyone clapped and congratulated us after I said, YES.
