That is so sweet of you! I wish there was an entire July 08 chatboard, haha. It's nice to chat with people who are on similar timelines. The major things I'm working on right now are limo's and hair/makeup. Has anyone else not had a trial yet? I feel like I'm behind on this.

I've had my trial booked for months, just wanted it to be later than sooner. I basically know what I want and how it will look since I've had similar updos before. I booked my hair and makeup the week after we were engaged! I knew who I wanted for the many reasons and the choice was made before the trial. I'm going late February for my trial....that's booked.

I booked limos right away too.....just to get it done...those are easy though!

Oh dear goodness . . .

I still have to:

Buy Wedding Bands
Insure Wedding Bands
Pay for Honeymoon
Finalize wording on our Invites
Send Invites
Apply for Passports
Wedding Cake/Grooms Cake
Set up Butterfly Release
Get Wedding Undergarments
Get Wedding Cake Topper
Schedule Rehearsal Dinner
Buy Parent Gifts
Order Tuxes
Do Hair Trials
Buy Bridal Party Gifts
Move into new apartment

And God knows what else!

Just a word of advice, if you need those passports for your HM go NOW!! My co-worker went four months before her wedding and up until the week before she didn't get them! She had to put a rush delivery and pay a lot to have it expedited.

July Ladies,

I'm so happy that I'm not alone. I seriously just chose my BM dresses last week, and will have them all ordered by end of month. You all would freak if you saw the list of things I need to do!

We will get thru it - let's stick together!

Not doing anything crazy...my party days are way over. I want to do something with FH and our entire BP.....I think that going out as a group of 16 people would be fun and really feel like a party! FH is cool with this idea. We are thinking of going to Manhattan to a really nice restaurant for dinner and then out to a lounge. Clubs are overrated and filled with teeny-boppers...I don't feel like running into students, so they're just not my thing. Thankfully FH feels the same way I do.

How about you ladies?

*I'm ordering my invites on the 25th of this month. I picked them out it's just to go over details.

*favors-know what I'm doing just have to do it.

*ceremony candles

*choose music

hmmm...have a written list and I know I have more on the list than I do here. can't think right now.

I'll be back when I think of more.

Re: Hello July Brides

I'm meeting with an Officiant this evening. His name is reverend Gustaferi. I found him off of a website called a Beautiful Affair of the Heart.
His fee is $450.00 which I find to be incredible! I'll keep you ladies posted for those who still needs an officiant!!!
