Re: hello ladies

Things will calm down soon. Try and do one thing a month.... that's what we did and so far so good, no stress.

It is all worth it in the end when you walk down that aisle and look like a princess with your prince waiting at the end

i was getting some pretty severe dizzy spells (to the point where i actually fell over and cracked my chin on the floor - i didn't even realize i was falling so i didn't put my hands up! i was also naseous all the time). it got a little better so i didn't do anything about it. i had them on and off for a while. i recently went to the dr (two years later! ) and he said he thinks i have benign positional vertigo, meaning there's something in my inner ear thrown off. he wanted me to see an ent to get it confirmed (still haven't done that) and that the treatment it physical therapy (weird).

maybe you have something like that. i wouldn't think dizziness is from stress. if you get dizzy when you go to lay down, turn over in bed, or when you change the position/elevation of your head, that could be it. it could also be your sinuses or some other inner ear thing. either way, i'd get it checked out, though i'm not really one to talk... =0P

Re: hello ladies

I thought I was th eonly one. I've been home yesterday and today with the same symptoms. FH seems tothink it's too much planning/computer. I seem to think it's stress and not exercising/eating properly.

Amanda, glad to see you back.

yes, i have had that a couple of times-- you can also call it 'acute vertigo' it is not life threatening like regular vertigo but it SERIOUSLY effs you up!!! it feels similar to allergies and sinuses but MUCH worse b/c it literally makes you fall down and totally unable to function...

i was so dizzy i would get nautious and throw up all over-- i couldn't walk or do anything-- closing my eyes made me dizzier!! laying down would just make everything spin-- turning or moving my head in ANY way sent me into a SPIN--- it was horrible.

they sent me to a neurologist and they cleared me and said it would go away on it's own-- gave me some meds to 'control' it and i was fine after a while-- it's fluid build up in the inner ear that causes your equlibrium to be thrown off...

comes and goes-- i get an 'episode' for a day or so- sometimes two every three or so years.
